By enrolling in this course, I attest that I am 21 years of age or older, and I agree to the following Terms & Conditions. 

I acknowledge that this online course explores potential uses of cannabis, and may include and involve discussions of its history, applications, techniques, ceremonial uses, social implications, and related legal, ethical and controversial issues, including potential health effects, risks and benefits. By enrolling, I voluntarily assume any risks associated with these discussions and my participation in the online course. I also understand that the course content is educational in nature and does not promote or encourage the irresponsible and illegal use, possession, or distribution of cannabis or any other illegal substance. I understand that this course does not provide medical advice, and I agree to consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical concerns, questions or decisions. 

I acknowledge that the legal status of cannabis use and possession varies according to county, state and local laws and that this course in no way grants me permission to violate any laws at any time. It is my sole responsibility to know and comply with these laws when making personal decisions regarding cannabis. I release and hold harmless The Shift Network, Inc., its employees, executives, faculty, delivery platforms, partners and affiliates from any liability arising from my participation in this course, including any actions I may take regarding cannabis outside the scope of this course.

As a registrant, you further pledge that you are in good health mentally and emotionally for participation in training of a transformational nature and you understand that this course or program is not a substitute for seeking professional help or support when needed. You agree to abide by the program’s stated policies and/or Shared Agreements in order to help create and sustain a safe container and learning environment for all participants.

The minimum age requirement for and participation is 21 years.

Your spoken questions and/or comments during the course may be recorded, copied, transcribed, and distributed by The Shift Network and used in perpetuity, and you consent in advance to these uses, as well as to the use of your image should you appear on a course video.

The Shift Network reserves the right at its sole discretion to refuse admittance into any course or program or terminate and refund any individual’s registration from any course or program it offers at any time. The Shift Network also reserves the right to cancel the registration without refund of any participant who defaults on their tuition payment agreement and to remove individuals from conference calls and course community forums on Facebook or other platforms when deemed necessary to preserve the well-being of the group and its members, faculty, and staff.

The Shift Network also maintains the right, but not the obligation, to monitor the content of its course forums, social media pages, and websites, and to remove any material or postings determined by The Shift Network to be inappropriate, destructive, or otherwise objectionable, including but not limited to posts promoting other businesses or services, discussions not relevant to the specific course content, hostile or inflammatory remarks, and may remove such posts at its sole discretion and without notice.

The Shift Network is happy to offer our 2-for-1 special to spouses or partners living under the same roof for most of our foundational courses, with the purchase of one full-price registration. To participate, you must submit your request to support@theshiftnetwork.com. (Spousal participation is offered at the sole discretion of the Shift Network and is subject to availability. Certain exclusions may apply. The Company reserves the right to change or cancel this policy at any time.) We are unable to extend this offer to participants in any of our advanced-level or application contingent programs, such as Certification Programs, Immersion Programs, Coaching or Teacher Trainings, and any courses or programs involving 1:1 faculty coaching and mentoring sessions.
